About me

I got my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering specialized in Cryptography, Privacy, Security and Distributed Systems and Applications. I am currently working as a Protocol Engineer at Status.im, developing privacy-preserving and incentivized distributed Peer-to-Peer (P2P) messaging protocols to be the messaging layer of the Ethereum blockchain. Before joining Status.im, I was a Senior Computer Scientist at CryptoNumerics Inc., Toronto, Canada where I was responsible for devising and developing the core data privacy and anonymization algorithms. During my Ph.D., I was also a joint research and teaching assistant at Cryptography, Privacy, and Security and Distributed Systems and Reliable Networks laboratories.
